The Auditorium Old Brick is a historical landmark in the heart of downtown Iowa City. It provides a gathering place for religious, civic, educational, cultural, and social events in the community, state, and region. The hall is 50' by 60' and has a beautiful solid oak floor. The auditorium features general illumination lights with dimmers and high intensity lighting for exhibits. It also contains a podium, full kitchen, wooden dance floor, and a Baldwin grand piano. The space is often used for weddings, receptions, exhibits, theatre, concerts, lectures, and luncheons.

Many things are included in the rental fee. We have 270 comfortable folding chairs, 25 round tables that are 60 inches in diameter, 8 six-foot long tables, and 6 eight-foot long tables. We have a wonderful sound system with the use of two wireless microphones and an i-pod or music playing device plug in. The facility is also wheel chair accessible with a chair lift.
Each group renting the auditorium is responsible for set-up, take-down, and cleaning the facility. We do offer take-down, set-up, and cleaning services for an additional fee. The parking lot adjacent to Old Brick is available after 5:00 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. Metered parking is available along Clinton Street and under Papajohn Business Administration Building. In addition, two parking ramps are located only one block away on Madison Street.
At the corner of EastMarket and Clinton Streets, Old Brick is conveniently located near theUniversity of Iowa campus and Iowa City business district. Near the Pappajohn Business Administration Building and Iowa Memorial Union, it provides a handy place for meetings, lectures, performances, or lunches.
